Why this particular cause?
I know what it's like to feel so tired and hopeless that want to give up and let your life play out, that it's too late you, that you've tried to sober up a zillion times and you can't so why bother, that it's your "medicine", and you need it, and that there is something is very wrong with you that cant be fixed. It's a lie.
I AM Responsible. Whenever Anyone, Anywhere Reaches Out For Help, I Want the Hand of A.A. Always To Be There. And For That, I AM Responsible.
GOD, I offer myself to thee, to build with me ad do with me as thou wilt. Relieve me of the BONDAGE OF SELF, that I may better do thy will. Take away my difficulties that VICTORY over them may bear witness to those I may help of thy love, thy power, and thy way of life. May I do thy will always. AMEN.
GOD grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.
